Bolton Abbey

Bolton Abbey is situated in the Yorkshire Dales. It sits alongside the River Wharfe and is made up of both the Priory Church and the ruins of an Augustinian Priory. The land was gifted to the Augustinian canons in 1154 who lived and worshipped here until 1539. The Abbey is now both a popular area for tourists and visitors, whilst still being a place of worship for visitors and the local community.
