St Govens Chapel, Pembrokeshire, UK

Nestled in the rocks at the head of the sea cliffs at Bosherton, Pembrokeshire is the wonderfully atmospheric chapel of St Govens. Various stories can be found that detail the supposed origins of this 13th century chapel and it is this ambiguity that I love about historic locations without a definitive back story. They can act as a blank canvas for peoples imaginations and fuel peoples interest in history, sometimes more than the well documented sites.
