Schoolroom St Kilda, Scotland

The school on St Kilda was built during the time of 1897-1900. The room was added onto the North Western side of the Church which is located on the South Eastern side of the Village. Formal education was introduced to the island to teach kids how to read and speak Gaelic and English. Classes also consisted of teaching the kids how to write and do basic math.
