Caerphilly Castle & Tommy Cooper Statue

Caerphillian Tommy Cooper (1921-84), thought by many to be the greatest comedian of his generation, a definite larger than life personality who dominated a room. Wanting to photograph Norman Caerphilly castle, I knew of this spot/angle which looks almost as though Caerphilly's favourite son has pulled the castle out of his magic hat with his rabbit looking on. It is a whimsical viewpoint with an almost cloud Welsh dragon in the background, as Cooper towers over the image, dwarfing the slumbering giant of a castle awaiting its call to arms.
